Hey all, Im currently re-building my boot install. I did previously have a very nice one which won "Best single sub install" and got second place in Illumination section at KKKRadio Installs. (Kristal Klear Kar Radio Installs)

Anyway, new install has 2 subs (12inch 500watt Z-Power US-AUDIO)
2 amps (250watt 2-ch Z-Power US-AUDIO)
6inch 3-way competition US-AUDIO (rear)
4inch kevlar GTI range JBL's (front)
Pioneer DEH-7225 MP3 head deck
Aerpro RCA's
Audiopipe Fuse holder with 30amp fuse
Re-wired with 50amp wires
Plus more neons than every CCMC member has put together lol.

I would have missed something, it will come to me eventually!
Im picking my new Sub and amp up on Monday and am using my old sub and amp aswell.

1: No I havent sound deadened my doors because there are no speakers in them lol
2: I am more than happy to help you design and build your boot install as it is what I do as my own buisiness that I started a little over a month ago.
3: I can take you to all the places to get the gear, I can also get it at a cheaper rate through my buisiness for you. Send me a pm with a date through the week that we can meet. I work weekends and nights (when I feel like it lol).

Ok heres yesterdays progress. I went to Autobarn Tuggerah and picked up the new Sub and Amp (Same as my old ones).

When I got home I had to cut a new top piece as my old install had one sub and two 6ers in it. I also found that I needed a new front piece as I made the box slightly deeper. I made two small boxes that sit inside the outer box (for the subs obviously) and I mounted one of about one hundred of my neons. I have cut a piece that will hinge and house the 6ers and will go up with the hatch. I then decided to put two LED highlighters in the box and still have plenty more work to go! Im just waiting on some piano hinge for the parcel shelf and need to get vinyl to cover the sucker!

Anyway, heres a few pics from my Motorola V360!!!

First stage of the box when in.

The new amp in box.

Neon installed on angle with braided line.

The hidden details... There are actually wires running through the lines.

My Support crew!

At the end of the day I was to lazy to pack everything up so I shoved it all in the boot!!!
skypher
nice job, i like the braided line hiding the wires trick

Hey guys, today I was with Kyall all day getting a tacho installed in his car so not much work done at the moment. I have the amps mounted and I cut the parcelshelf piece to fit around the brake light. Tomorrow Im cutting and shaping bits and pieces out to put into the floor pan. I rang Tempe Tyres and got a price on a spare wheel to match my current wheels. It was cheap enough so I shall get one soon enough, haven't ordered it yet though. I also started making a clear panel to house my black light that will sit under the parcel shelf. Tomorrow I have to get a couple of dog chains for another lil suprise, if all goe's smoothly I will post new pics.
My garage floor is littered with parts as I also have my engine in bits to get it chromed up! Im getting the strut brace, alternater, my new exhaust manififold and possibly my tapper cover chromed (depends on how much extra).

Now Im going to bed!
FUS30N
Wait awhile to get you stuff polished up, i am polishing a few parts up in the next couple of weeks, il let you know what it takes

I haven't had much time to do much work to the install. I still haven't done the floor pan, been side tracked with thought... Getting 17" chromies on the Camry today! I will post pics A.S.A.P

I hate show installs and trimmed interiors!!!

Just had to pull my bro's car apart and the stereo setup is fugged!!! lol...
Xmetal
Interesting install, though i'm a little bit skeptical about fitting amps to the back of subboxes - wouldn't the vibrations unsettle the circuitry in the amps?
