Some of you will remember having Sunday night dinners back in the day, and with Daylight Savings nearly upon us again, I (and a few others) have been thinking about doing it again. It doesn't have to be anywhere expensive or fancy or anything like that, but just fish + chips at a park or Pizza at the beach or something. Kick a ball around, talk shit, whatever. Somewhere different each week so as to let everyone have a chance at being close to home every now and then..
Probably won't be doing anything until after Bathurst weekend, because there will be plenty of people that won't be too coherent that Sunday, but yeah, keep it in mind.
I think there's a bit of a loss of the human element to this group and it's just becoming a big internet shitfight. Bit of real interaction might not be such a bad thing 'eh?

We can all have keyboard battles. But I'm afraid the best of the keyboard warriors are no longer amongst us

Pitstop cafe? I don't think I know where that is........

I reckon it sounds like a great idea. If we went to a park then the kids could have a run around as well without the possibility of being hit by a car. Maybe if we started at one end of the coast one weekend and work our way around the coast every other bbq day. Perhaps starting at budgewoi one weekend, then Jenny dixon and work our way down. Or we could start from the other end of the coast. Just a suggestion anyway.

Lets get a date organised. I personally think october the 21st or the 28th. I no it is a decent distance in the future but the weather will be warm and it gives everyone plenty of notice to make sure that we all turn up.....
Unless someone really wants it sooner. I mean the 2nd week of october is bathurst yes? and then the 3rd weekend is a members birthday so thats why I was thinking then. Just a thought though.

I was thinking more like every Sunday evening. Good way to wind down the week I think, light dinner and chat with friends.
But yeah, OK, set a date. First one can be, actually, bugger it, lets make the first one this Sunday! Procrastinating makes the world stop, so lets just do it. Gosford Waterfront around 6pm. There's Fish + Chips, Macca's for those that need their fix, noodles in Gosford, Red Rooter, Pizza. that way everyone can get what they want, and it's a generally central location!

Yeah ok then why not. That sounds good to me.
So this sunday night then huh? and gossy is definately a good place to start then we can work on making plans about where to go each week. Although I wont be there too late as I gotta be at work at 6am monday morning in sydney. Damn public holidays.

Sep 25 2007, 11:09 AM
Oh shit yeah, public holiday. Should be busy around the waterfront!

Maybe make it around 5pm, as it gets dark about 6:30....

Ummmmm just remembered the waterfront is out. The central coast rays (rugby union team, australian provincial championship) game is on at 4pm at bluetongue so that wont be finished till at least 6. Oh and I am out now as I will be at the game.

Pfft. Rugby.
thats OK, we can go down to the park past the sailing club at Point Frederick, heaps of parking down there and doesn't usually get a lot of stadium parking...
